WHAT DOES A MEMBERSHIP GIVE ME?

Range memberships are available, giving you the benefit of year-round range use at significant savings. You will enjoy shooting in our climate controlled environment – warm in the winter and cool in the summer. All memberships with Phoenix Range are good for one year from the date of purchase and meet the requirements set by the CFO for the use of restricted firearms and firearms licenses.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO USE THE RANGE?

There are no restrictions on how old a person needs to be to fire a gun. All minors under the age of 18 are required to have their legal guardian present.

WHICH RANGE GUNS CAN I USE?

Accepted Answer

You are able to shoot any or all of the range guns on display.

Question 4

CAN I BRING MY OWN GUN TO THE RANGE?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can bring your own firearms to the range. They do need to be correctly secured according to all firearm regulations. All long guns should be in some form of case.

CAN I BRING MY OWN AMMO?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can bring your own ammo to shoot using your own firearms. Ammunition must not stick to a magnet (including the casing) and single projectiles only to shoot on the range. (i.e. shotgun slugs only)

CAN I BRING MY OWN TARGETS?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all targets are to be made from paper or cardboard. Targets with human facial characteristics, cartoon or child related images are not allowed. Silhouette images are allowed.

CAN I USE MY OWN AMMUNITION IN YOUR GUNS?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, only Phoenix Range counter ammo is allowed to be used in our range guns, for safety and insurance liability purposes.

Question 8

DO I NEED A PAL (FIREARM LICENSE) TO SHOOT?

Accepted Answer

No, however any non-licensed customer must bring a friend. One of our trained range officers will supervise for the duration.
